About
Hi, my name is Martin Fisher and I am a full time remedial massage therapist based in Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders.
After leaving school I originally trained in electrical and mechanical engineering and I worked in this field for over 20 years. In 2006 I felt ready for a new challenge so I decided to take up a hobby, and having always had an interest in the human body I decided it might be fun to sign up for a massage therapy course.
After my initial training with the Scottish Massage Schools, I qualified as a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist in 2008. At this point I realised there was still a lot to learn about acute and chronic pain conditions and how to relieve them, so I decided to further my training.
I continued to study and went on to complete more therapy courses and various workshops with many different teachers. During this time I was also treating as many clients as I could on a part-time basis.
After about 5 years the training started to bring some good results and my desire was now to try to help more people with my massage treatments.
In 2011 I realised one of my dreams and opened my very own therapy business in Jedburgh, M Fisher Massage.
Since opening, the support I have received from my clients, family and friends has been amazing and my current interests are still very much in the area of massage therapy and bodywork.
If you are affected with a painful condition and wondering if my style of massage therapy may be helpful for you, then please take a look at what I have to offer.
Sometimes when we put up with pain for a long time it can seem like it will always be there, but the body has an amazing capacity for recovery. Things can change; sometimes we just need a helping hand.
Simply click on the menu tabs above for more details, or get in touch with me by text or phone if you would like to book a treatment or discuss any aspects of my therapy.
I look forward to hearing from you and would love to answer any questions you may have.
Best wishes for a pain free body.
Martin.
